Cities are working on different issues like pollution, law enforcement, safety, future parking management solutions. “Smart City” applications are discussed but often a city doesn’t have a valid database of information to make informed decisions.

Digital era sollution instead of inflexible and expensive stationary sensors - Mobile MultiSensor™

The default approach to any sensing challenge is to install as many measuring devices as possible.
If a city would like to count vehicles parked in a given area, they usually equip each parking lot with a stationary sensor.
This solution provides precise real-time data but apart from that is far from optimal. Installation is time-consuming and cost-ineffective. Monitoring the whole city center requires a huge initial investment in hardware.

  • Flexible - scan in chosen areas needed without the necessity to invest in time and cost-consuming stationary sensors.

  • It gathers the data with a speed proportional to its velocity. 

  • If a higher “refresh rate” is needed, one can easily increase the number of passes or sensor carriers (scalability similar to “pay-as-you-go” cloud infrastructure).

  • The ratio of residentials vs commuters in living areas
